A: Yes. All matting we offer is acid free.

Q: Should I drymount my valuable antique or work of art?

A: This is not recommended.

Q: How do you secure the work or piece to the mat?

A: Linen tape, Japanese hinges, archival photo corners. Depending on each individual       framing project, other methods and techniques are used.

Q: Is it okay to put glass next to the art to flatten the art?
A: No. Putting glass next to the art can cause 'buckling' of the paper or print which becomes very noticeable in a very short period of time especially when exposed to extreme changing temperatures. This can also seriously damage a photos and art. This is never recommended.

Q: How do you frame a baseball jersey or T-shirt?
A: Generally in a shadow box frame. The Jersey is positioned and sewn down with cotton thread using a 'hidden stitch' method. The piece has the appearance of floating in a frame. Many of customers chose to add photos and engraved plates to identify the item or event.
